CUMFI was founded in 1993 and incorporated by a group of Metis people living in the City of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The mandate of CUMFI is to ensure that the voice of Metis people is heard at the municipal level within Saskatoon and district." CUMFI strives to promote the heritage, cultural, economic, educational and social well-being of the Metis community in Saskatoon, SK.

THE POSITION The Emergency Receiving Home Worker is responsible for the intake process, crisis intervention procedures and child-in-care procedures. The Emergency Receiving Home Worker is responsible for the safety and supervision of children in their care, as well as meal preparation and maintaining daily routines. The Emergency Receiving Home Worker must be flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the children who come into the CUMFI Children's Emergency Receiving Home at varying hours.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Early Childhood Education Certificate (Level I, II, or III)

Three References at least two must be a direct Supervisor/Manager A valid (within six [6] months) Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector
