Assist with general workshop activities while completing on the job and classroom based training.
We are looking for a talented Engine Workshop Technician - Apprentice to join our Distribution business in (Regina, SK).
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Assist in cleaning, inspecting, disassembling, and performing other basic workshop activities
- Learn Standard Repair Times (SRTs) and follow documented procedures and policies to complete basic repairs and maintenance
- Assist with completing required documentation, including work completed records and timesheets through handwritten forms or business systems
- Complete training in line with skill development and business requirements
- Maintain work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation
- Ensure adherence to all Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation and report any issues or incidents to supervisors
- Assist with repairs and maintenance on engine and power generation products under supervision
- Support troubleshooting using mechanical, electrical, and electronic service tools
- Assist with diagnosing equipment issues following guided workflows and procedures
- Create and maintain accurate service documentation and repair records
- Escalate technical issues appropriately and document troubleshooting steps
