Join BBA and make the most of your experience by actively contributing to the various stages of major industrial energy efficiency projects, from the earliest stages of the business relationship to onsite equipment commissioning and performance monitoring.

You’ll be part of our mechanical team specialized in the energy transition, and you’ll help clients decarbonize their facilities.

- Collaborate with the team on innovation projects involving decarbonization, energy management, efficient energy use and heat recovery in the industrial sector
- Design heat recovery systems and thermal systems (HVAC, power systems—cooling and heating loops)
- Manage projects and their technical aspects, including design reviews, costs and schedules
- Help prepare proposals
- Prepare, draft and produce study reports
- Perform technical information surveys
- Prepare and review engineering documents

Summary Of Certifications And Job Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and member in good standing of the OIQ
- From 3 to 8 years of relevant experience in energy efficiency, heat recovery, thermal energy networks, cooling systems and HVAC
- Advanced English skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in English-speaking Canadian provinces and internationally; you may need to use English occasionally or daily, depending on current projects
- Advanced French skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in Québec
- Asset: experience in engineering project management (study or detailed engineering)
- Asset: CEM certification
- Available for short-term assignments with our clients in Québec and elsewhere in Canada
