Emblem Logistics, a wholly owned facility of Thomas, Large & Singer Inc is currently seeking an energetic, motivated Engineering Co-op Student to join our team.

This entry-level role is designed for a student looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced logistics workplace. This role will support warehouse operations through data collection, analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

· Collect operational data from receiving, picking, shipping, and co-pack activities

· Organize, clean, and validate data to ensure accuracy and consistency

· Analyze productivity, labour, and process data to identify trends and improvement opportunities

· Support continuous improvement initiatives using basic industrial engineering principles

· Assist with time studies, observations, and process documentation

· Prepare reports, dashboards, and visual summaries using Excel, Tableau, PowerPoint

· Participate in project work related to labour management and workflow optimization

· Collaborate with supervisors and operations leadership

· Support special projects and other duties as assigned

Key Qualifications:

· Currently enrolled in a University Engineering program

· Strong interest in data analysis, process improvement, and operations

· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts)

· Comfort working with numbers and operational metrics

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy

· Curious, proactive, and willing to learn

· Ability to manage multiple priorities





· Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels.

Preferred (But Not Required)

· Previous co-op, internship, or summer experience in operations or warehousing

· Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement concepts

· Prior experience in a warehouse or industrial environment
