We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and tutoring, with a focus on helping students achieve their academic goals. This role involves working closely with students of various ages and learning abilities, providing personalized instruction in subjects such as Math and English. The Tutor will create a supportive learning environment that fosters growth and confidence in students.
Responsibilities
- Provide small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
- Foster a positive and engaging learning atmosphere that encourages student participation
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educators regarding student progress and areas for improvement
- Support students with special education needs by implementing individualized strategies
Skills
- Experience working with children in an educational setting
- Proven tutoring experience, particularly in subjects such as Math and English
- Strong teaching skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
- Classroom experience that demonstrates effective classroom management techniques
- Knowledge of special education practices to support diverse learners
- Ability to build rapport with students and create a motivating learning environment
Job Type: Part time Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
