This site-based role is key in ensuring the effective implementation of the Project Sustainability Management Plan (SMP) while overseeing environmental management systems and contractor compliance.
You will guide Sustainability and Environmental coordinators, providing oversight on performance and ensuring adherence to regulatory commitments and environmental legislation. Key Responsibilities:
- Implement the Sustainability Management Plan during construction
- Ensure compliance with environmental permits and regulations
- Lead and guide environmental coordinators and contractors
- Oversee environmental monitoring and reporting programs
- Manage environmental risks and incident response activities
Requirements:
- Degree in Environmental Science or related discipline
- 10+ years in environmental management for infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of permitting and compliance
- Leadership and communication skills
- Availability for a rotation schedule
