Work Assignment Overview:
North Coast Transmission Line (NCTL) is a 500 kV transmission line expansion project to be completed in three phases.

- Phase 1 & 2: Approximately 440 km between Prince George and Terrace, adjacent to existing circuits 5L61, 5L62 & 5L63.
- Phase 3: Extends 350 km north of Terrace to Bob Quinn.
- Project includes expansions to existing and recent greenfield substations and an extensive thermal upgrade to circuits 5L61, 5L62 & 5L63.
- All project scopes are expected to be completed by 2032.
- Phases 1 & 2 will be developed and operated as assets co-owned with multiple First Nations.
- The Environmental Risk Manager will be the primary liaison between BC Hydro Environmental Management, Construction/Commercial Management, Contractors, and Project-based Environmental Staff.
