Equipment Operator

Job Type

- Full Time Seasonal (April - November)

Location

- City of Edmonton and surrounding area

Responsibilities

- Responsible for operating a variety of equipment, which may include the following:

- Skid Steer

- Bulldozer

- Loader

- Excavator

- Operators must be able to perform a variety of tasks such as: finish grading, general landscaping, backfilling, excavation, sub-grade, material handling and snow removal

- Operators must be able to load, unload, safely secure and transport equipment

- Must be able to drive tandem axle gravel truck and pup trailer if required

- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment by conducting inspections on a daily basis

- Keeping records of work, equipment and job-sites

Requirements/Experience

- Proficient in Cat D series skid steer and Cat K series loader

- Class 5 drivers license (clean drivers abstract) with reliable transportation to job sites





- Preference will be given to those with Class 1 or Class 3 (with air brakes license)

- Ability to work long hour days if required

- Expected to participate in general labour duties upon request in order to assist with completion of projects

- Standard First Aid (Required)

- Minimum 3 years landscape related experience
