Esthetician / Waxologist + Client Experience

WAXOLOGY is Langley’s all-waxing specialty salon! Established, reputable, and known for providing clean, consistent and comfortable waxing services for over a decade.

We’re looking for a certified esthetics professional to join our team in a unique full-time hybrid position that combines hands-on waxing with client experience and front desk support.

The position will initially be approximately 50% hands-on waxing and 50% client/front desk support. You’ll receive extensive training in the WAXOLOGY method while gradually building your confidence, speed and loyal clientele. As your clientele grows, the position is designed to transition toward more time behind the wax pot and less time at the front desk.

Who This Role Is Perfect For

This position is ideal for someone who:

- Is a Certified Esthetician or graduate of an accepted esthetics/waxing program
- Wants to develop their skills and grow into a confident Waxologist
- Has strong customer service experience and genuinely loves connecting with people
- Is comfortable working both with clients in the treatment room and supporting the front-of-house experience
- Is organized, proactive and comfortable juggling different responsibilities
- Learns quickly and takes pride in doing things well
- Is reliable, positive and self-motivated
- Enjoys fast-paced, relationship-based work
- Wants stability, structure and room to grow within an established salon

You do not need years of waxing experience. You do need the right attitude, strong customer service skills and a genuine willingness to learn. What You’ll Do As a Waxologist:

- Provide body,



facial and Brazilian waxing after completing our in-house training
- Build and maintain strong relationships with your clients
- Gradually develop your own loyal clientele
- Provide a warm, professional and consistent WAXOLOGY experience
- Follow WAXOLOGY service, sanitation and aftercare standards
- Continue developing your technique, confidence and efficiency through ongoing training and coaching

Supporting the Client Experience:

- Welcome clients and create a warm, professional salon experience
- Manage bookings, rebookings, waitlists and client inquiries
- Help maximize the schedule by proactively filling openings and supporting strong client retention
- Communicate with clients by phone, text and email
- Process payments and maintain accurate client records
- Support inventory, salon organization and day-to-day administrative tasks
- Participate in WAXOLOGY social media and content creation alongside the team
- Help keep the salon clean, stocked, organized and running smoothly

As your waxing clientele grows, your schedule will gradually shift toward more waxing hours and fewer front desk hours.

- Esthetics certification or Waxing certification
- Strong customer service or client-care experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Comfortable learning booking software and other digital tools

- Reliable, organized and accountable
- Comfortable taking initiative and working independently when needed
- Commitment to learning and following WAXOLOGY’s methods and standards
- A genuine interest in building a career in waxing and client care

Schedule

- Full time
- Tuesday–Saturday
- Must be available Saturdays
- Approximately 50% Waxologist / 50% client and front desk support to start
- Waxing hours will increase as skills, confidence and clientele develop
