Founded in 1909, Nordstrong Equipment Limited (Nordstrong) is a company with a long history of providing customized bulk material handling equipment and solutions to agriculture and industrial customers. We are an industry leader in design and manufacturing of a wide variety of robust, high-performance bulk material handling solutions. In addition to our custom-designed product, we also design and manufacture a full line of hoisting equipment for truck dump body applications under the NORDIC trade name.

We maintain a friendly creative work environment that respects diversity, creative ideas, and strong work ethic. We are currently looking for a recent team member in our Estimating Department to compliment our amazing team.

Responsibilities

- Creating Cost Build Ups for custom bulk handling equipment (Bucket Elevators, Drag Conveyors, Screw Conveyors, and Belt Conveyors)
- Application engineering is part of this role so creativity and a basic understanding of engineering principles.
- Build Customer Quotes for Custom Bulk Handling Equipment.




- Leverage the brilliant minds of our cross functional teammates to determine manufacturing lead times, and price structures.
- Support our outside Sales Partners.

Skills and Requirements:

- Post Secondary Education is preferred, a combination of education and work experience may be considered.
- A customer-centric focus is required
- Driven and ambitious with an innate desire to succeed
- Previous experience in bulk handling equipment is strongly preferred
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Ability to interpret Engineering Drawings
- Strong Mechanical Aptitude
- Excellent Math Skills
- Intermediate Excel Skills
- Prior Experience in a manufacturing facility is necessary
- Must live in Winnipeg or surrounding area- role is in office
