Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Estimator / Project Coordinator with ICI construction experience to join our growing team. This position will be responsible for preparing estimates, quantity takeoffs, tender submissions, project documentation, and coordinating projects from award to completion.

The ideal candidate has experience with interior construction scopes such as drywall, framing, ceilings, flooring, painting, and insulation, with strong blueprint reading, estimating, and project coordination skills.

Experience:

- 5+ years of construction estimating/project coordination experience
- ICI construction experience preferred
- Experience with drywall, framing, GWB/ACT ceilings, flooring, painting, insulation, or other interior finishes is an asset

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare quantity takeoffs and detailed cost estimates for ICI projects
- Review drawings, specifications, and scopes of work
- Prepare and submit competitive tenders
- Analyze and compare pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
- Prepare change order pricing and documentation
- Coordinate awarded projects from estimating through completion
- Track project costs, schedules, materials, and change orders




- Prepare and submit invoices
- Coordinate with GCs, PMs, site teams, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Prepare RFIs, submittals, purchase orders, and project documentation
- Maintain project records and workflows
- Attend site meetings/site visits as required
- Support project closeout and handover

Qualifications:

- Strong understanding of ICI construction processes and sequencing
- Solid blueprint/drawing and specification reading skills
- Strong estimating and quantity takeoff skills
- Ability to manage multiple tenders/projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu, Excel/MS Office
- Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related education preferred
