- Maintain regular communication with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Identify and manage changes in scope, site conditions, extras, and change orders
- Track project progress, production, committed costs, and overall financial performance
- Compare estimated versus actual costs and identify issues early
- Assist with project documentation, progress billing, invoicing, and collections
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contractual requirements

Qualifications

- Strong understanding of earthworks construction methods, equipment, production rates, and costing
- Experience completing quantity takeoffs and preparing construction estimates
- Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, grading plans, specifications, and tender documents
- Strong understanding of excavation, grading, backfill, aggregates, trucking, disposal, and equipment requirements
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules, change orders, and cost tracking

- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple active estimates and projects simultaneously
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence
- Strong attention to detail with a practical understanding of field operations

- Experience with Bluebeam, estimating/takeoff software, or similar programs
- Experience with civil underground utilities and DSSP installation
- Experience with demolition and site servicing projects
- Existing relationships with local suppliers, subcontractors, general contractors, and developers
- Civil engineering, construction management, estimating, or related education

Typical Schedule Monday to Friday, with occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends as project requirements dictate.

This role will include a combination of office work, site visits, client meetings, and coordination with field operations.
