Position Overview:

As an Event Installer within our Special Events operations team, you will play a vital role in bringing events to life. This position involves efficiently pulling decor and furniture from the warehouse, executing setups based on detailed floor plans, including lighting, drapery, and signage, and managing the seamless teardown of events. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who can handle delicate design elements with care, including the ability to carry heavy items such as furniture, drapery components, and other equipment, to contribute to the successful execution of our special events.

Job Functions:

- Execute the productive retrieval, transport, and setup of decor and furniture from the warehouse to event spaces, ensuring all items, including heavy furniture like couches and ceremony chairs, are handled with precision.
- Coordinate the meticulous arrangement of small-scale decor, including candles, table charges, and glassware, to meet high aesthetic standards.
- Oversee the comprehensive teardown and restoration of event spaces and warehouses, ensuring all equipment is returned to an event-ready and organized state.
- Collaborate effectively with management and setup teams to troubleshoot logistical challenges and maintain site cleanliness.




- Implement detailed floor plans by precisely positioning tables, chairs, and large-scale installations in banquet and patio areas.
- Manage the expert installation and striking of drapery, backdrops, and signage, maintaining the integrity of delicate fabrics and components during transport and storage.

Requirements:

- Completion or expected completion of high school education.
- Knowledge of banquet practices is an asset.
- Reliable transportation required.

Skills/Abilities:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Detail-oriented with high aesthetic standards.
- Strong time management skills; able to work independently and in teams.
- Physically capable of extended standing, walking, bending, and lifting at least 50 lbs.
- Mobile, with the ability to manage setups across multiple locations.
- Proficient, or willing to be trained, in operating equipment like dollies and ladders.
