Glitch, Victoria’s premier Bar & Games Room — and its hidden sister speakeasy, Pour & Famous, a premium cocktail lounge -- is seeking an events and promotions coordinator . This exciting position's main focus is on organizing and hosting themed events and parties while also executing season long sports programs and promotions.

This role is central to our guest experience. You will blend hospitality excellence with sales acumen and creative event production to cultivate a loyal VIP community, drive ticketed events, secure corporate bookings & events.

You will take over existing event and ongoing promotions, while creating and promoting new events -- from event inspiration to preparations (decor, DJs, music etc) to execution.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced nightlife environment & has past bar experience. You need to have worked in the industry to understand the industry and succeed in the nightlife industry.

Must love building relationships, and be motivated by performance-based earnings. You will help create unforgettable nights while delivering exceptional service in both the high-energy bar of Glitch and the intimate, upscale setting of Pour & Famous.

Event Creation, Execution & Sales

- Conceptualize, create, and fully execute engaging events (e.g., Sindustry Sunday , Burlesque or Drag Events, themed parties, ticketed experiences, speakeasy soirées).
- Sell tickets for all events and drive attendance through personal networks and targeted outreach.
- Identify, pitch, and secure corporate events, private parties, team-building nights, product launches, and group bookings.
- Oversee end-to-end event logistics, including setup, staffing coordination, on-site management, and post-event follow-up.

Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Proactively hunt for and corporate and private bookings.
- Develop and nurture partnerships with local businesses, event planners, hotels, and organizations.
- Contribute to overall venue revenue targets through VIP sales, ticket sales, and upselling premium experiences.





Marketing & Social Media
- take content for social media at events
- Collaborate on guerrilla marketing, influencer partnerships, and teaser campaigns to build buzz and drive foot traffic.

Additional Duties
- Maintain deep knowledge of both concepts — arcade games, cocktail program, music, history, and unique selling points.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, discretion (especially for speakeasy access), and brand alignment.
- Track and report on key metrics: ticket sales, VIP bookings, corporate revenue, social engagement, and guest feedback.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills — you are outgoing, polished, and naturally magnetic.
- A big network of friends and a large social media prescence
- Strong sales abilities with a track record of hitting revenue targets.
- Creative mindset with experience planning and executing successful events.
- Social media savvy — able to create engaging content that drives real-world results.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and occasional late nights (venues open until 2am).
- Knowledge of Victoria’s nightlife and corporate event scene is a strong asset.
- Passion for craft cocktails, music, and creating memorable experiences.
- Professional appearance and strong personal brand that aligns with an upscale-yet-fun venue.

Hours : While the range is 20 -40 hours, the goal is to get you to full time based on the amount of events and parties that you create and execute. The more you work, the more money you make, especially with the additional compensation:

- Performance Incentives:
- 25% commission on all ticket sales for events you create.
- 5% commission on corporate booking sales you bring to us
- 7.5% commission on VIP table and bottle service bookings.
