About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cosmetic Nurse Injector to join our team on an independent contractor basis. We're specifically looking for someone who is actively building their practice — someone who sees this as an opportunity to grow a client base, not just fill a schedule. Shift structure is flexible and will be finalized based on the right candidate's availability and fit.

This role is ideal for an injector who:

- Is genuinely motivated to grow and market their own book of clients — this is a priority for us, not a nice-to-have
- Ideally already has an existing clientele they can bring with them or is actively building one elsewhere
- Has hands-on clinic experience beyond training or school
- Is confident leading consultations and treatment planning independently
- Values professionalism, client education, and ethical practice
- Wants to grow within a supportive, well-run clinic that will invest in the right person

Key Responsibilities

- Perform cosmetic injectable treatments within scope of practice, including:
- Neuromodulators (e.g. Botox® and equivalents)
- Dermal fillers
- PRP treatments (experience or certification required)
- Other injectable services introduced by the clinic in the future
- Conduct thorough consultations and create customized, ethical treatment plans
- Educate clients on treatment options, expected outcomes, and aftercare
- Deliver safe, natural-looking, high-quality aesthetic results
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including:
- Medical histories
- Treatment notes
- Before-and-after photography
- Collaborate with the clinic team to ensure a seamless client experience
- Participate in occasional content capture (photo/video)

Qualifications & Requirements

- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Registered Nurse (RN), or Nurse Practitioner (NP) (or other medical professional authorized to perform cosmetic injections, with active registration in Alberta)
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on cosmetic injection experience in a clinical setting (required; must be outside of school or certification programs)
- Botox / Neuromodulator training and certification (required)
- PRP experience and/or certification (required)
- Ability to provide private before-and-after photos of previous work
- Strong consultation, communication, and client education skills
- Professional presence and confidence in a client-facing environment
- Commitment to patient safety, ethics, and exceptional outcomes
- Existing clientele strongly preferred — please be prepared to speak to your current client base and how you built it
- A demonstrated track record or clear plan for actively marketing yourself and growing your book — we're looking for a true partner in growing this business, not just someone to fill appointment slots
- Availability to start as soon as possible

Schedule

- Part-time, flexible shift blocks (typically 4–8 hours per shift)
- Exact days and weekly commitment to be discussed and finalized with the right candidate
- In-person role at our Downtown Edmonton clinic
