We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Heavy Equipment / Machine Operator with extensive experience working on rail projects. Duties

- Operate ,excavator with precision and safety awareness
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on all equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members
- Coordinate with project managers and team members to execute tasks efficiently and meet project timelines
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues promptly and effectively




- Support the setup and operation of specialized machinery like Caterpillar equipment and other industry-standard brands

Experience

- Minimum 5 years of machine operating experience
- Experience operating heavy equipment in construction environments
- Railway experience is a strong asset
- Experience operating Railavators / Hi-Rail excavators is an asset
- Must be willing and able to travel throughout Ontario
- Valid driver's licence
- Strong commitment to workplace and railway safety
- Reliable, professional and able to work as part of a crew
- Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment on rail or similar infrastructure projects
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting
- Construction industry experience with a focus on rail infrastructure projects preferred
- Knowledge of safety standards specific to heavy equipment operation in construction environments
