Overview

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a talent for grooming pets to look and feel their best. This role offers an opportunity to work in a friendly environment where customer service and animal care are our top priorities.

The Pet

Groomer will be responsible for providing professional grooming services, ensuring pets and their owners are comfortable, safe, and satisfied with their grooming experience. We are ideally looking for someone with at least two years of professional grooming experience, and cat grooming experience is an asset. Please note that only applicants with skilled grooming experience will be considered or contacted for this position.

Responsibilities

- Bathing, drying, and brushing pets to prepare them for grooming
- Trimming fur, clipping nails, cleaning ears, and performing other grooming tasks according to breed standards and customer requests
- Ensuring the safety and comfort of animals throughout the grooming process
- Maintaining cleanliness of grooming tools and work area
- Providing excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about grooming needs and aftercare instructions




- Handling heavy lifting when necessary, such as lifting larger or heavier animals safely
- Managing appointment schedules efficiently to ensure timely service delivery

Qualifications

- Prior experience in pet grooming is required
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to handle animals gently yet confidently, ensuring their safety and comfort during grooming procedures
- Physical strength and stamina to perform heavy lifting of pets when needed
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners and team members
- Ability to work well independently; good time management.
- Compassionate attitude towards animals and a genuine love for their well-being
