About the Studio

We are a luxury couture and custom bridal studio in Toronto. Every garment is made to order, by hand, in-house. One of one, always. Small team, high standards.

The Role

This is a senior sewing role. You'll be constructing bridal gowns, couture pieces, and tailored menswear from pattern to finished garment. You should be able to take a design and build it without hand-holding.

What you'll do

- Advanced garment construction on bridal, couture, and tailored pieces
- Pattern making and pattern alterations
- Corsetry, boning, structured bodices, linings and underlinings
- Men's tailoring: jackets, trousers, shirting, canvassing
- Hand finishing, hems, closures, beading, pressing
- Fittings and alterations
- Work independently to deadline





What you need

- Minimum 5 years qualified garment construction experience (bridal and couture required)
- Strong pattern making skills, flat pattern and drafting
- Men's tailoring experience
- Confident with industrial machine, serger, blind hem, and hand finishing techniques
- Skilled with silk, tulle, lace, satin and delicate fabrics
- Able to work from a technical sketch or design reference
- Detail obsessed and deadline reliable
- In-studio in Toronto

Pay: $22.50-$24.00 per hour
