We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Server to join our vibrant hospitality team! Compensation:

- $18.25 - $20.00/hour + pooled tips

Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and provide detailed descriptions of food and drink options to enhance their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Toast POS, ensuring all special requests and dietary restrictions are noted clearly
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation, sanitation, and food safety
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including cashiering duties and processing payments efficiently
- Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including table settings, dining spaces, and food handling stations




- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations

Skills

- Proven food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
- Robust knowledge of POS systems, especially Toast POS, for efficient order processing and cashiering
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously with ease
- Deep understanding of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor that fosters guest loyalty
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing, change calculation, and inventory tracking
- Experience in upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase revenue
- Kitchen experience or familiarity with food preparation processes is a plus
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and guests
- Knowledge of the food industry standards related to serving, hospitality, and guest services
- Barista and Bartending experience is a great asset.

We're a busy, close-knit team where everyone is cross trained across different areas of the restaurant. While your primary role will be serving, you will also be expected to jump in and support the wider team as needed - including bar, coffee, dish, expo and hosting. Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour
