In this role reporting to the Director of Health & Wellness, you will carry out personal care tasks under the guidance of a supervisor.

Key responsibilities include facilitating mobility, preparing meals, and observing patient conditions to communicate effectively with the care team. Commitment to quality care and strong communication skills are essential. Key Responsibilities:

- Observe and report on changes in residents’ conditions
- Provide daily personal care and hygiene support
- Assist with resident transfers and ambulation
- Uphold confidentiality of resident information
- Engage with care agencies as directed Requirements:
- Graduate of Health Care Aide program or equivalent
- Experience in community health settings
- Robust organizational skills and customer focus
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification preferred
- Must obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check Provide dedicated support to residents as a valued Health Care Aide at Extendicare.
