Toronto Metropolitan University is reshaping the downtown core of Toronto with three new buildings: the Mattamy Athletic Centre at the Gardens, the Toronto Metropolitan University Image Centre in the heart of campus, and a Student Learning Centre on Yonge Street. In addition, currently in progress is the development of a new multipurpose building, the Church Street development (CSD). Qualifications

Enrolled in: 4th year of Ryerson Undergraduate Program. Overall academic performance at B+ (3.3 GPA) or above.

Must have completed course with B+ (3.3 GPA) or above grade level.

Previous evaluation of performance as an Assistant at the University (if applicable).

Relevant Experience

Strong academic background in finance, with solid knowledge of introductory finance concepts such as financial statement analysis, equity/bond valuation, capital budgeting, and risk-return analysis;

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain finance concepts clearly to students;

Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills;

Prior experience as a TA, tutor, or peer mentor is considered an asset;

Reliable, well-organized, and able to lead tutorial sessions independently.
