Become the Communications Director for the Faculty of Setting at the University of Waterloo. You'll lead strategies that amplify the Faculty's influence and showcase its research and educational impact. In this pivotal role, your primary mission will be to counsel the Dean and faculty leaders, ensuring that their priorities align with the overall institutional communications strategy.

With oversight of the communications team, you’ll craft compelling narratives that resonate with internal and external audiences while managing the Faculty’s reputation amidst evolving challenges. Key Responsibilities:

- Direct communications strategy and implementation efforts
- Advise faculty leaders on messaging and positioning




- Coordinate with central communications for resource alignment
- Identify and manage reputational risks
- Develop audience-focused storytelling

Requirements:

- Minimum 7-9 years in strategic communications roles
- 3-5 years of leadership experience
- Proven expertise in a multi-stakeholder environment
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Background in higher education or public sector communications
