Job Summary

KYL Law Firm is an Immigration & Family Law Firm. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lawyer to join the firm.

Duties

- Represent Clients at the Family Law Court-Ontario
- Preparation of legal documents, including briefs and pleadings.
- Conduct interviews with clients and witnesses to gather relevant information for cases.
- Perform legal research using legal tools to support case preparation.
- Draft and proofread legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
- Maintain organized files and documentation using legal case management systems.
- Work with clients from diverse backgrounds, including legal aid clients.

Skills

- Must have experience representing clients at the Family Law Courts of Ontario.




- Strong interviewing skills to effectively gather information from clients and witnesses.
- Proficient writing abilities for drafting transparent and concise legal documents.
- Strong phone etiquette for professional communication with clients.
- Exceptional organizational skills to maintain orderly files and documentation.
- Legal research.

This is an independent contractor, commission based position.

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON M6A 1A1
