Responsibilities
- Prepare food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and swiftly
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision and integrity
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all areas of the kitchen and dining space in accordance with food safety regulations
- Assist with upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure timely food delivery by managing time effectively during busy periods and coordinating with team members
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient transaction processing
- Strong time management skills to handle high-volume periods smoothly
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and sanitation standards to ensure safety and compliance
- Basic math skills for cash handling, order calculations, and inventory management
- Ability to work well in a quick-paced kitchen setting with kitchen experience preferred
- Effective communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with team members
- Enthusiastic about upselling menu items to enhance the guest experience and drive sales
