Reports to: VP, Finance Vacancy: Existing Vacancy PURPOSE
Reporting to the VP, Finance, this role provides administrative and financial support to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of financial processes and records.
RESPONSIBILITIES The Finance Clerk will support the Finance team in a variety of functions, including but not limited to:
Financial Data and Record Management: Ensure accuracy in data input, management, and integrity of financial information
Update and maintain financial records, filing systems, and track financial transactions
Compile financial spreadsheets, reports, statements, and other documents as needed Accounting and Financial Support: Assist with administrative tasks, including completing forms, filing, and responding to phone calls and emails Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks, including completing forms, filing, and responding to phone calls and emails General Duties: Complete other related tasks as required in a timely manner QUALIFICATIONS Must meet eligibility requirements of the Canada Summer Jobs Program and Ottawa Salus pre-employment requirements
Currently a post-secondary student or recent graduate in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience with or understanding of computerized accounting systems (e.g., Sage 300); additional training will be provided
