Finance Leaders (Director/VP/CFO) - Canada

Operatif is supporting an active Canadian client mandate and is building a curated index of finance leaders for relevant current and future opportunities.

We are meeting Directors of Finance, VPs Finance, CFOs, and senior finance operators who have led meaningful business change, whether that means building a finance function, improving cash and profitability, supporting fundraising, preparing for growth, or leading transformation.

The current mandate

Our active mandate involves a high-growth business entering its next phase of scale. The company needs senior finance leadership to strengthen financial infrastructure, improve cash visibility and forecasting, build investor readiness, and support disciplined growth.

Relevant experience may include

- Building or scaling finance, accounting, FP&A;, reporting, and controls
- Managing cash flow, runway, working capital, profitability, and capital efficiency
- Supporting fundraising, financing transactions, investor diligence, data rooms, and Board reporting
- Leading strategic planning, forecasting, commercial analysis, and resource allocation
- Improving finance systems, automation, operating cadence, and decision-quality
- Partnering directly with CEOs, Boards, investors, operating leaders, and external advisors

Who we are looking to meet





We are interested in finance leaders across Director, VP, and CFO levels with demonstrated experience in one or more of the following:

- High-growth, scaling, PE-backed, VC-backed, public, private, or complex operating businesses
- Finance transformation, performance improvement, turnaround, restructuring, M&A;, or integration
- Technology, SaaS, healthcare, digital health, consumer, financial services, industrials, or professional services
- Corporate finance, FP&A;, treasury, controllership, accounting, capital strategy, or operational finance leadership
