Suncor's BP&A; team is seeking a Finance & Planning Advisor to support our Finance, Technology & Risk Function. In this role, you will provide valuable financial insights that support key business decisions across Finance Technology & Risk and other functional areas. You will contribute to budgeting, forecasting, month-end stewardship, business planning, and financial analysis activities while working closely with stakeholders across the organization.

Minimum Requirements:

- 3-5 years of experience in finance, planning, accounting,



business analytics, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
- Experience with SAP, Power BI, SAC-P, or similar systems is considered an asset
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- CPA designation (or progress toward designation) is considered an asset

Responsibilities:

- Support budgeting, forecasting, business planning, and month-end stewardship activities
- Partner with stakeholders to understand key business drivers, risks, and opportunities
- Analyze financial performance and provide insights to support business decision-making
- Prepare financial reporting, analysis, and commentary to support performance reviews, forecasting, and planning activities
- Develop and enhance reporting, dashboards, and analytical tools to improve financial transparency and business insights
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve reporting, and drive continuous improvement
- Provide ad hoc analysis and support for strategic initiatives and stakeholder requests

Location and other Key Details:

- This is an office-based role located in our Calgary office, Suncor Energy Centre, 150 - 6th Avenue S.W.
- Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
- Our professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines, and the pay band will generally be based years of experience and scope of work
