Position: Financial Controller/Director - Bilingual

Your Key Responsibilities

Lead Financial Management:

- Lead all aspects of financial management, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Implement and maintain rigorous cost-control systems to ensure profitability and efficiency.
- Provide clear, actionable financial analysis to support executive decision-making.

Ensure Compliance and Controls:

- Oversee compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.




- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and reporting.

System Implementation and Optimization:

- Actively participate in the implementation and improvement of financial and operational systems.
- Structure and establish processes suited to a growing company.

Collaborate and Develop the Team:

- Partner with operations and supply chain teams to align financial strategies with business objectives.
- Mentor and develop finance team members to build organizational capability.

What We're Looking For

- CPA designation or equivalent professional accounting qualification, or a degree in accounting.
- 5 to 10 years of experience as a financial controller, ideally in the food manufacturing and distribution sector.
- Manufacturing environment experience required.
- Demonstrated experience in financial system or ERP implementation.
- Proven experience in rigorous cost management and performance measurement.
- Excellent knowledge of manufacturing cost structures, distribution models, and inventory management.
- Perfect bilingualism in French and English, both spoken and written.
- Direct and proactive leadership style, capable of influencing across various departments.
- Builder profile, comfortable in an environment undergoing structuring and growth.
- Willingness to play a strategic role in profitable growth and long-term success.
- Canadian residency mandatory.

- Competitive salary between $100,000 and $140,000 based on experience and qualifications.
