Team is dedicated to coaching and developing Financial Planner, leaders, and support teams across TD Wealth’s Advice Businesses.

Practice

Consultants are skilled in diagnosing, assessing, and supporting practices at various stages, with a focus on Financial Planning.

The Practice

Consultant, Financial Planning, is responsible for driving practice enhancement, engagement, and coaching with Financial Planning teams. This role serves as a subject matter expert, engaging with Financial Planners in a discovery and solution process, and delivering solutions that leverage the full scope of Practice Management across Value Proposition Creation, Discovery, Planning, and consulting on all aspects of running and growing a Financial Planning practice. Conduct deep discovery and analysis of FP practices to identify strengths, opportunities, and what matters most to planners.

Deliver thought leadership and coaching to individuals and teams, both in group settings and one-on-one engagements.

Equip Financial

Planners to grow through greater efficiency, optimal practice management, and enhanced client experience. Partner closely with National Office and TD enterprise teams to provide end-to-end support for FP practices.

Wealth Case

Management, FP Direct, FP Roadshows, and digital advice platforms). Promote continuous improvement, leveraging best practices from FP Roadshows, coaching programs, and peer learning opportunities.



Proven track record in delivering advice and solutions to clients in Financial Planning. 7+ years of Sales Leadership, Coaching, Training, and/or Advisory experience.

Excellent presentation skills, with experience in both individual and group coaching. Ability to manage multiple initiatives and demonstrate discipline around timelines, implementation, and sustainment. Understanding of the Financial Planning business, regulations, and procedures.

Subject Matter

Expertise and/or industry certifications/accreditations such as CFP, QAFP, PFP, CSC, IFIC, CFA considered an asset. Team player with strong collaborative skills and experience partnering across business units. Coaching designations (e.g., Kolbe, StrengthsFinder, DISC, Myers-Briggs) considered an asset.
