This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality skills in a laid back bistro setting while working alongside a dedicated team committed to excellence. You must have full time, open availability and be available evenings, weekends and holidays.

Duties

- Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu, highlighting specials and upselling opportunities to enhance their experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system TouchBistro, ensuring timely and precise entry
- Serve food and drinks with professionalism, ensuring proper presentation, food safety, and sanitation standards are maintained throughout service
- Manage guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure maximum satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including tables, utensils,



and service stations in accordance with food safety regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and delivery efficiently, ensuring guest expectations are exceeded

Experience

- Proven food service experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment demonstrating excellent guest service skills are preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as OpenTable, TouchBistro or similar platforms for order processing are preferred
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations within the food industry
- Previous restaurant experience emphasizing serving, upselling techniques, and guest services in a hospitality setting preferred
- Experience working in a team-oriented setting, comfortability with tip pool, and a focus on hospitality excellence
