As a Flight Instructor Class 2, you will deliver comprehensive instruction, supervise student pilots, and uphold the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Duties
- Provide hands-on flight training to student pilots, guiding them through various maneuvers and procedures in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Assess student progress regularly, offering constructive feedback to enhance their skills and confidence.
- Prepare detailed lesson plans tailored to individual learning needs and training objectives.
- Ensure all flights are conducted safely, adhering strictly to aviation regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of training sessions, flight hours, and student evaluations for compliance and progress tracking.
- Supervise ground school activities, including safety briefings, pre-flight checks,
and post-flight debriefings.
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to continuously improve training programs and ensure a cohesive learning experience.
Requirements
- Valid Flight Instructor Class 2 certification issued by the relevant aviation authority.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance procedures.
- Multilingual abilities including proficiency in English; additional languages such as French, Chinese, Hindi, or Spanish are highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills with supervising experience in educational or aviation settings.
- Proficiency in Math and GIS (Geographic Information Systems) for navigation planning and flight data analysis.
Pay: $72,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
