Duties

- Greet customers warmly and identify their flooring needs through active listening and product knowledge.
- Conduct product demonstrations and provide detailed explanations of flooring options, including materials, textures, and installation processes.
- Manage inside sales transactions using POS systems, including cash handling and basic math calculations for quotes and invoices.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with customers to close sales effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Support marketing efforts by promoting current products, special offers, and renovation services to increase store traffic.
- Maintain organized merchandising displays, ensure product availability, and keep the sales floor inviting and well-stocked.




- Collaborate with account managers on large projects or high-end clients to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Conduct product demos and educate customers on installation processes, renovation tips, and construction best practices.
- Build long-term relationships through excellent customer service, repeat business, and multilingual communication when applicable.

Qualifications

- Must have a minimum of 2 years of Flooring Sales Experience
- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.
- Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math for transactions.
- Experience in negotiation, upselling techniques, and account management to maximize sales opportunities.
- Background in renovation or construction projects enhances understanding of product applications.
- Excellent organizational skills for merchandising, inventory management, and maintaining a tidy sales environment.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to explain technical details clearly and professionally.
