Duties

- Greet guests warmly and present menus confidently, providing detailed descriptions of menu items and specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring all requests are clearly communicated to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation, sanitation, and safety.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales by recommending popular dishes or beverages.
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems, manage cash handling responsibilities, and process payments efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including tables, utensils, and serving stations in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations.




- Assist with food handling and basic food preparation tasks when needed to support kitchen operations.
- Manage guest inquiries professionally, resolve concerns promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience through excellent guest services.
- Follow proper sanitation procedures during food service and handling to uphold health standards within the food industry.

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with robust knowledge of serving techniques.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and cashiering functions.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy hours.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing, change calculation, and inventory purposes.
- Experience in cash handling, cashiering, and upselling menu items confidently.
- Kitchen experience or understanding of food preparation processes is a plus for supporting team efforts.
- Exceptional communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact positively with guests.
- Demonstrated hospitality skills that foster a welcoming environment for all patrons.
