Stoney Nakoda Resort & Casino is hiring for all Server / Bartender positions. Full Time, Part Time and Casual Hours are available. Restaurant, Lounge, Casino, Banquets and Events are all areas available to work in and we encourage cross function roles and variety in shifts.

Position Summary

Servers / Bartenders are responsible for serving guests for our food and beverage outlets while providing outstanding guest service. This could include restaurant, casino floor, lounge, banquets events or room service.

Key Accountabilities

- Welcomes guests to table
- Ensures the quality of the food and service
- Stocks and cleans as assigned
- Ensures beverages are prepared according to house policies and adheres to all Liquor and Health policies
- Settles guests accounts
- Assists in reducing costs and waste
- Practices up-selling techniques to increase revenues
- Assists with the daily management of Food and Liquor Inventory Systems
- Manages other initiatives or duties as required

Education and Qualification Requirements:

- Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Robust communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with customers and team members
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds
- Knowledge of basic food safety standards and sanitation procedures is a plus
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or holidays if needed
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn new skills
- Computer literacy in MS Office: POS experience
- First Nations experience an asset
- Other languages an asset
- AGLC Certificates : ProServe & Reel Facts (VLT)




- Criminal Record Clearance mandatory
- Experience: 1 year (preferred)

Work Environment Considerations Regular and restaurant environment, non-traditional work hours, standing and walking for long periods of time; lifting and carrying.

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
