SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Manager Program/Services the Registered Foot Care Nurse provides foot care to clients within clinics at our Stratford, Clinton, and New Hamburg Locations. The Foot Care Nurse monitors and delivers foot care according to the care plan and in accordance with all required internal and external skilled practice standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) RN/RPN.
- Advanced Foot Care certificate mandatory.
- Experience working in a community based health care organization with particular emphasis in gerontology and adults with disabilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a member of interdisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a willingness to learn new skills.
- Must be available to work flexible hours.
- Ability to speak French would be considered an asset.
- Current driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle and a willingness to travel.
