We produce content that blends storytelling with performance marketing, creating videos that not only look great, but deliver measurable business results. We're looking for a talented Social Media Video Editor who understands how to keep people watching.

About the Role

This is a remote freelance contractor position offering consistent, ongoing work.

You'll edit approximately 12 social media reels per month (roughly three per week), with most videos ranging between 30–60 seconds. Projects range from simple educational talking-head style edits featuring motion graphics, through to more creative promotional hype reels with sound design and transition effects. You'll have plenty of creative freedom while working alongside a collaborative, supportive team that values quality, creativity and continuous improvement.

This position has the potential to grow into a full-time role as the company continues to expand.

What You'll Be Doing

- Edit engaging short-form videos for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube Shorts.
- Craft strong opening hooks that maximise audience retention.
- Build edits with excellent pacing, rhythm and storytelling.
- Create clean, engaging animated captions.
- Use motion graphics,



visual effects and AI-assisted editing techniques where they enhance the story.
- Confidently utilise modern AI editing tools and workflows to improve efficiency and production quality.
- Perform colour correction and minor colour grading.
- Source and edit royalty-free music and sound effects that elevate each edit.
- Deliver projects on time while independently managing your workload.
- Collaborate directly with the Creative Director to continually refine and improve each project.

Experience & Qualifications:

- Minimum 3 years' professional video editing experience.
- Highly proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve .
- Strong understanding of short-form social media editing.
- Excellent sense of pacing, storytelling and audience retention.
- High-quality animated caption work.
- Able to create clean, modern motion graphics using native editing tools, Adobe After Effects or AI-assisted workflows.
- Competent using modern AI editing tools and workflows.
- Strong sound design skills.
- Up to date with current social media editing styles, trends and visual techniques.
- Strong colour correction skills and basic colour grading.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Outstanding time management and organisational skills.




- Reliable high-speed internet capable of downloading and uploading large video files.
- Access to at least one royalty-free stock music or creative asset subscription for commercially licensed music and assets.

Nice to Have

- Experience with Adobe After Effects.
- Experience editing paid social advertisements.
- Experience working with construction, renovation or trade industry clients.
