Scholars of Thornhill is seeking for a passionate and enthusiastic part-time French Lead Teacher to join our team. As a teacher at Scholars, you will have the opportunity to positively impact students, both personally and academically. The successful candidate will be trained on Scholars’ teaching methodology. Candidates must be confident teaching French concepts from Grades 1 to 12. If you're looking for a rewarding and challenging work environment, we want to hear from you!

Additionally, this role is looking for our French tutor to become one of the lead teachers of the centre. The lead teachers duties will shadow those of the Education Director.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

● Ontario Certified Teacher is preferred

● Candidates in Teacher College or university designation towards language arts are encouraged to apply.

● Previous experience working with students is an asset.

● Excellent French oral and written skills.





● A passion to help students reach their potential.

● Exceptionally organized and high attention to detail.

● Ability to teach groups of up to 3 students at a time.

● Must be able to teach French up to Grade 12.

● Monday - Thursday, 1:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. & Saturday 9:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M.

Candidates must be able to work a minimum of two shifts per week within our hours of operation above.

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Experience:
- Teaching: 1 year (preferred)

Job Type: Part time Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
