Duties

- Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements to create a welcoming environment
- Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems ensuring timely and correct processing
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Provide excellent guest services by answering questions about menu items and making recommendations for upselling food and beverages
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained during food handling and serving processes
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff and maintain smooth service flow




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve guests efficiently while maintaining high-quality service standards

Experience

- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous
- Robust customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations in the food industry
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, order totaling, and change calculation
- Experience in serving or hospitality roles that involve guest interaction and upselling techniques is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during high-volume service periods while maintaining professionalism
