Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Gas Station Attendant to provide excellent customer service and ensure smooth operations at our station. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting customers, handling transactions, maintaining the cleanliness of the station, and promoting additional sales. Bilingual abilities and strong communication skills are a plus to effectively serve our diverse customer base.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist with fueling their vehicles efficiently
- Operate POS systems for cash handling and processing transactions accurately
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of the station, including pumps, convenience store area, and surrounding premises
- Upsell products and services, such as snacks, beverages, or car washes, to increase sales
- Manage inventory levels and restock merchandise as needed
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies
- Handle cash register operations with accuracy and integrity




- Assist in merchandising displays to attract customer attention
- Demonstrate phone etiquette when answering inquiries or taking orders

Skills

- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Customer service-oriented with a friendly demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
- Experience with POS systems and retail sales is preferred
- Ability to perform product demos or explain services effectively
- Organizational skills to manage inventory and maintain station appearance
