Shape the future of fundraising at the University of Waterloo as a full-time Donor Experience Officer. This position is centered on building and maintaining robust donor relationships. As a Donor Experience Officer, you will support the fundraising objectives by implementing strategies for donor qualification and cultivation.
Under the guidance of the Associate Director, you will engage with current and prospective donors while managing a portfolio of relationships aimed at advancing fundraising goals.
Your role is critical in encouraging financial support for the University’s initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Execute qualification, solicitation, and stewardship plans
- Build and maintain donor relationships through outreach
- Update donor records and contact reports efficiently
- Collaborate with teams across the university on donor strategies
- Assist in special projects related to donor engagement Requirements:
- Relevant university degree or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years in fundraising or related fields
- Strong writing and communication capabilities
- Experience with alumni relations is an advantage
