Housekeeper

Oncore Seniors Society is looking for a reliable, caring, and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at RiverBend Seniors Community.

As a Housekeeper, you will play an important role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents. You will work independently while being part of a supportive team focused on providing excellent service and helping residents feel comfortable in their homes.

What You'll Do

- Clean resident suites to a high standard, following established cleaning schedules and checklists
- Refresh linens and remove waste from resident suites
- Complete laundry as required for the department and residents
- Report maintenance, damage, and safety concerns promptly
- Respond to resident concerns and special requests in a professional and timely manner
- Monitor housekeeping and linen supplies and assist with inventory
- Follow proper cleaning, chemical handling, safety, and WHMIS procedures
- Communicate and work collaboratively with the housekeeping, leadership, and on-site teams
- Assist with seasonal cleaning and special projects as needed
- Help maintain housekeeping checklists and support the training of new team members
- Treat residents, coworkers, and all visitors with professionalism, respect, and confidentiality

Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of housekeeping or janitorial experience
- WHMIS certification required
- Satisfactory criminal record check
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace
