We are looking for a Registered Kinesiologist in good standing with the College of Kinesiologist of Ontario, with BCLS HCP CPR, and professional liability insurance. Cambridge Cardiac Care Centre is a full service non-invasive cardiology centre focused on prevention of cardiovascular illnesses, early & accurate diagnosis of cardiovascular risk & disease, as well as thorough & complete cardiovascular therapy & rehabilitation. Our expert staff will provide you on site counseling &
education to help you heal yourself. Our state of the art cardiac testing facility will provide you with rapid & complete non-invasive on site cardiac investigations. Through our focus on life style change & cardiac rehabilitation, we will work with you to develop a comprehensive plan to help protect you from cardiovascular illness or recover from it should it pre-exist.

: Cardiac Rehab Registered Kinesiologist (R.Kin)
Cardiac Rehab is delivered by a multidisciplinary team and the Kinesiologist is an integral part of the Cardiac Rehab team.
This will identify the main areas of responsibilities of the job. Priorities of responsibilities may need to be changed based on circumstance and timeline of the program. This guide will be used to describe specific outputs of the responsibilities:
Excellent physical and clinical assessment and interpersonal skills
Prior experience working in a Cardiac Rehab Program, within a case management role preferred
Exercise Prescription modification and progression
Facilitating patient education through coaching techniques using adult learning principles, self-management and group teaching
Providing psychosocial supports for patients and families
Excellent computer skills, interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
Leadership, Supervision, and Clinical decision making skills
Prior experience organizing, coordinating, and overseeing larger groups of patients
Self directed individual with the ability to work both independently and in a multidisciplinary Team
ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist Certification or equivalent preferred or in progress In Clinic - Monday - Friday
Requirements:
R Kin - Registered with COKO yearly
PLI (Professional Liability Insurance) yearly
CPR-BLS
WHIMS
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $32.40-$45.00 per hour
