We are a flower farm and private event venue in Chilliwack, BC. We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Gardener / Farm & Property Maintenance Technician to help maintain our gardens, flower beds, lawns, and overall property.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in beautiful landscapes, and is comfortable with both gardening and general property maintenance.

Responsibilities

- Maintain flower gardens, garden beds, trees, shrubs, and seasonal plants
- Plant, transplant, prune, weed, fertilize, and water plants
- Maintain lawns and general landscaping
- Help with seasonal garden preparation and cleanup
- Monitor plants for weeds, pests, diseases, and general health
- Operate basic gardening and landscaping equipment
- Keep garden areas, pathways, and outdoor spaces clean and well maintained
- Assist with general farm and property maintenance
- Perform light repairs and upkeep around the property when needed
- Help prepare and maintain the property for weddings, private events, and farm activities
- Assist with moving materials, furniture, tools, and other items when required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Other gardening and property-related duties as needed

What We're Looking For

- Previous gardening, landscaping, farming, or property maintenance experience preferred




- Strong knowledge of plants and gardening practices is an asset
- Comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions
- Physically capable of lifting, bending, kneeling, and performing manual work
- Reliable, responsible, and punctual
- Use of the small engine equipment tools
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Able to work independently and manage daily tasks
- Comfortable using basic gardening and maintenance tools
- Valuable communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver's licence is an asset
- Experience with lawn equipment, tractors, irrigation, or small repairs is an asset

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM (1 hour lunch OR 4*15mins coffee break through the day)

Some flexibility may be required during busy wedding and event seasons.

Qualifications

- Experience with small engine repair and maintenance
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and effectively
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
- Physically capable of outdoor labor in various weather conditions

We are looking for someone who wants to become a long-term part of our farm team.

Pay: $18.25-$28.00 per hour
