Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Farm Worker specializing in livestock to join our dynamic farm team. In this role, you will be actively involved in the daily care, management, and maintenance of livestock and farm operations. Your energetic approach will help ensure the health and well-being of the animals while supporting the overall productivity of the farm.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in newly renovated barns, engage with livestock, and develop hands-on skills in farm machinery and animal husbandry.

Responsibilities

- Assist with feeding, watering, and caring for livestock to promote optimal health and growth.
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of animal housing, equipment, and surrounding areas to maintain a safe environment.
- Repair and maintain feed and ventilation systems, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Support with breeding, farrowing, or other activities as needed.
- Assist with general farm maintenance tasks.




- Handle heavy lifting of feed bags, equipment parts, or livestock when necessary to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements

- Basic mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot farm machinery effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of the team.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently throughout the workday.
- Prior relevant experience is required.
- Positive communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Willingness to follow safety and biosecurity procedures diligently and maintain a clean work environment.
