We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team to assist with Calgary based Fence Construction. This role involves supporting various operational tasks across our site, ensuring smooth workflow and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate is physically capable, reliable, and eager to contribute to a energetic team. Prior experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided to help you succeed in this role.
Responsibilities
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials or equipment as directed
- One of the primary roles will be digging post holes for fencing manually.
- Operate basic tools and equipment safely under supervision
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure safety protocols are followed
- Follow instructions from supervisors to complete assigned tasks efficiently
- Help with site cleanup and organization at the end of shifts
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and report any hazards or incidents immediately
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety awareness
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential
- Prior experience in construction, manufacturing, or general labor is advantageous
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions and environments
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Employee must provide own Steel Toed Boots & Appropriate Work Attire
