- Support production line work, such as reworking, packing, and sorting parts
- Assist and provide support to production department
- Assist operators with set up procedures
- Able to load coils on feedlines and operate robots (Fanuc)
- Able to set up and operate automatic press lines
- Perform set up tasks of manual transfer dies
- Support the maintenance, tooling, quality, and logistics departments
- Perform quality checks and ensure product meets specifications
- Utilized in manual transfer production
- Maintain & improve housekeeping within work area
- Responsible for any equipment that has been assigned
- Other duties assigned by the management team
- Abide by all Company policies including, but not limited to the following: Health and Safety, Environmental, Quality, Human Resources policies, and the Employee Handbook
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 diploma
- Lift Truck / Overhead Crane experience
- Experience with automation and robots
- Excellent communication skills; ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to interact effectively and appropriately with other Leaders, Managers, employees
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ensures adequate and continuous controls and exercised over all assigned activities affecting quality
- Must be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change and delays
- Working knowledge of safety standards of equipment
- Good attendance record
- Self-starter, demonstrates initiative
- Robust analytical, critical thinking and troubleshooting attributes
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
