General Concrete Labourer

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking General Concrete Labourer to join our team. This is a hands-on position working as part of a concrete crew on a variety of projects.

Previous concrete or construction experience is not required. We are willing to train the right individual who has a strong work ethic and is willing to learn. 1–3 years of concrete or construction experience is preferred and will be reflected in starting pay.

Compensation

- $24.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on experience and skill level
- Approximately 44–50 hours per week
- Overtime paid after 44 hours per week
- Opportunity for increased compensation as skills and experience develop

Responsibilities
- Assist with preparation for concrete pours
- Assist with forming, placing, pouring, levelling and finishing concrete
- Move and handle concrete, lumber, forms, tools and other materials
- Set up and clean up job sites
- Operate basic hand and power tools
- Assist experienced concrete workers and crew leaders as required
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow company safety procedures and direction from supervisors




- Perform other general construction duties as required

Qualifications
- No previous experience required
- 1–3 years of concrete or construction experience preferred
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Dependable and able to arrive at work on time
- Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively as part of a crew
- Comfortable performing physically demanding work, including lifting, bending and working outdoors
- Able to work approximately 44–50 hours per week, depending on workload and weather
- Previous experience with concrete forming, pouring or finishing is considered an asset

What We’re Looking For We are looking for someone who is dependable, works hard and wants to learn the concrete trade. Experience is valuable, but attitude, reliability and willingness to work are equally important.
