Job Summary

BarrierBoss Fencing Ltd. is seeking a motivated and dependable General Labourer to join our production team in West Kelowna. In this role, you will perform a variety of physical tasks supporting our fencing manufacturing operations on the shop floor. Your energy and attention to detail will help ensure production runs smoothly and safely.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Responsibilities

- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials and equipment on the production floor
- Prepare work areas by cleaning, organizing, and setting up tools and supplies
- Support production staff by holding materials, measuring, or assisting with fabrication tasks
- Follow all WorkSafeBC and site safety protocols at all times
- Operate basic machinery or tools as trained and authorized
- Help with shop cleanup and waste disposal to keep the work area tidy and safe
- Perform routine inspections of tools and equipment, reporting any issues promptly
- Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs regularly throughout the shift

Experience





- Prior experience in general labour, manufacturing, or production environments is preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward safety and collaboration
- Basic understanding of workplace safety procedures and protocols
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from supervisors

PPE Requirements

- Steel-toed boots required (employee-provided)
- All other required PPE provided by BarrierBoss
