Our Elmsdale treating facility plays a vital role in Goodfellow’s success in Atlantic Canada. As a General Laborer, you’ll work alongside treatment plant operators to load and unload cylinders and as well as keeping our lumber yard organized.

Are You Ready to Join Us? Here’s What We’re Looking For:
- Previous Treating Plant experience (an asset)
- Experience in a lumber yard or building materials environment (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced team setting
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Safety-conscious mindset
- Willingness to work outdoors & indoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions
- Physical capability to perform the job duties
- Availability for overtime
Your Roles:
- Tagging & Bagging Lumber
- Ability to use pneumatic tools correctly and in a safe manner
- Assisting the treater with loading and unloading charges
- Working outdoors in the lumber yard when needed
- Follow proper procedures for the treating plant
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in the warehouse and production areas
