We are seeking a dedicated and physically fit individual to assist our licensed plumber with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. As a General Labourer, you will provide essential support on construction sites, handling materials, preparing work areas, and ensuring a safe and organized environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from work areas.
- Site Preparation and Cleanup: Prepare work sites by setting up ladders, scaffolding, and safety equipment. Clean and pile salvaged materials and remove rubble and debris from construction sites.
- Assisting Tradespeople: Assist plumbers and other skilled tradespersons with various tasks, which may include aligning pipes, cutting openings in walls and floors, and using hand and power tools.
- General Labour: Perform other manual labour duties as assigned, which may include mixing and spreading materials, assisting with demolition, or directing traffic near the work site.
- Safety and Maintenance: Follow all safety protocols,



maintain a clean work environment, and perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment

Qualifications and Requirements

Education: No degree or diploma is required

Experience: Any previous experience in construction or trades is an asset, but on-the-job training will be provided for those with a robust work ethic and willingness to learn.

Licenses: A valid G driver's license is required

Personal Attributes: Must be reliable, hardworking, flexible, and an efficient team player. The role requires robust communication skills and the ability to follow instructions

Working Conditions

This is a physically demanding position that involves:

- Environment: Work is primarily outdoors and on-site, with exposure to various weather conditions, noise, dust, and heights.
- Physical Demands: Requires standing, bending, heavy lifting (up to 100 lbs / 45 kg), and performing repetitive tasks

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
